Stuck? Feel like the walls are closing in on you? Don’t worry millions of people are frustrated with there jobs in the corporate world. Time constraints, Busy schedules, the never ending deadlines. You are not alone! Well I will be honest i’ve been in both worlds the corporate world and the self employeed world and believe it or not there really is not too much of a difference between the two. Most people have this far fetched picture of being self employed as days on the beaches, relaxing days on the golf courses, sitting with your feet poolside while your favorite waiter or waitress brings you your next unbrella drink. – Nope- Sorry folks you have a rude awakening coming. Although there are many perks to being self employed, it is a business just like the corporate world and you have to put your time in to make it successful. Don’t get me wrong… Ive had plenty of days with no bosses screaming at me or telling me what to do but I actually found myself as the boss screaming inside the same as a corporate boss would..lol.. (true story)..

So whats the moral of my story, there is good and bad to everything. The good of being in the corporate world – security (sometimes). The company paying your benefits (huge plus), and the companionship of having co-workers that you can laugh with.

The benefits of being self employed… there are many, actually to many for me to list here but I guess I was just making a simple point of if you are stuck now, find other things to go after and see if you can unstick yourself!
